ASL 21 – Beginning American Sign Language I

CHI 1 – Beginning Chinese I

Asynchronous Online with Saddleback College
Introduces spoken Arabic with an emphasis on listening, conversation, and early reading/writing. Includes fundamental aspects of Arabic culture.

ASL 22 – Beginning American Sign Language II

Prerequisite: AP Calculus BC with a grade of B or higher

ARAB 2 – Elementary Arabic II

How rigorous are Dual Enrollment courses?
These are real college courses. Be realistic about your schedule and commitments before enrolling.

Will the IVC class and grade appear on my high school transcript?
Only if the course meets a high school graduation or A–G requirement.

If it’s not on my high school transcript, how will colleges know I took it?
You can report community college courses, grades, and units directly on your college applications.

Can my parent/guardian contact the college on my behalf?
No. Under Section 49061 of the Education Code, parents do not have the right to access their child’s college records—even if the student is under 18.
